Vineyard State of Mind (Original)

$1,500.00

Vineyard State of Mind is a dreamy, ethereal portrait of a woman rising from the very essence of Martha’s Vineyard. Her face, serene and glowing with warm, radiant tones, emerges organically from the island's landscape—her neck and chest becoming the cliffs and coastline, her heart centered at a glowing lighthouse nestled in the hills. Her voluminous hair flows skyward like clouds dancing on the Vineyard breeze, painted in delicate blues, purples, and seafoam greens that evoke the calm of an ocean sunrise. With eyes gently closed, she appears to be in a blissful trance, embodying a spirit deeply connected to nature, peace, and home.

My Love Letter

When I painted Vineyard State of Mind, it was more than just capturing a place—it was capturing a feeling, a frequency I live in every day. Martha’s Vineyard isn’t just a destination for me; it’s a soulful experience, a living, breathing part of my identity. The beauty, the peace, the rich culture, and the slow rhythm of island life inspire me endlessly. In this piece, I envisioned a woman so deeply in tune with the Vineyard that she becomes it—rising from the land itself, guided by the light of the island’s magic and history. Her calm, contented face reflects how I feel when I’m surrounded by the Vineyard's sea-kissed skies and healing energy.

I’m always in a Vineyard state of mind, no matter where I physically am. It's where my spirit feels most alive, most inspired. Painting this image was my way of honoring that eternal connection—my love letter to the place that constantly fuels my creativity and nurtures my heart. Through color, light, and flowing movement, I tried to infuse the canvas with the joy and stillness I find in Martha’s Vineyard. It’s more than art—it’s a meditation, a celebration, and a reminder that our souls can always return to the places they call home
