Near the center of this sacred scene, a dog swims with intention and joy—chasing a ball her human companion has thrown out to sea. She moves steadily through the glowing water, her silhouette small but fierce, alive with purpose. The tenderness of that motion—devotion in muscle and instinct—somehow holds its own against the vast orchestration of sky and sea. She is not a distraction but a participant in the ceremony of day's end.

The sun drops slow into the sea,
its final gleam a trail of fire.
The clouds lean in to watch it go,
embroidered dusk with soft desire.
A dog swims through the burnished path,
drawn by the arc of a human's throw.
Not chasing time, but something round
and buoyant as belief in glow.
The waves make room for her resolve,
each stroke a hymn, each splash a vow—
to meet the gift the sky released,
and bring it gently back somehow.
Behind her, day exhales its gold,
the world still warm from what it knew.
A ball, a dog, a faithful game—
the sunset throws, and we pursue.

Do you ship internationally?
Canvases, fine art paper prints, and murals can be rolled and packaged by art specialists for safe transport during shipping. You will receive detailed tracking information and will be able to view updates along the way. Shipping is within the United States.
