As the sky transitions from golden fire to deep indigo, a lone sailboat drifts peacefully across the evening tide, framed by waves that shimmer with every hue of the setting sun. There’s a calm here that settles the soul—where the land hums with memory, the sea mirrors the sky, and time feels suspended. The sky leans low with painted grace,
lavender, rose, and golden flame—
each wave a brushstroke on the sea,
each ripple whispering my name.
A sailboat drifts in quiet thought,
its mast a line between two worlds—
one fading with the sun’s last kiss,
one waiting where the night unfurls.
The stones beneath hold ancient tales,
smoothed by years of salt and tide—
they anchor me in silent prayer,
where hope and peace can both reside.
Here, on the edge of all I know,
I watch the light slip out of reach—
and feel my heart, still ocean-stitched,
become the soul of Stony Beach.
