"She Who Dances Between Worlds" is a visual invocation of feminine transcendence, ancestral memory, and metamorphosis. Painted using acrylic flow techniques and abstract realism, this piece emerged not from a plan but from a state of surrender—an open channel between the conscious and the mythic. The central figure is not confined to the canvas; she stretches beyond it, exhaling into the unknown, held and healed by the vibrant and complex life surrounding her.
Her body is adorned with spirals and sacred dots, inspired by Indigenous and African diasporic body art traditions, symbolizing transformation, cycles, and the divine intelligence of the body. The butterflies that surround her are not random motifs—they are messengers, agents of evolution. Their presence suggests that change is not always violent; it can also be radiant, tender, and slow. The swirling background, created with a fluid acrylic technique, mimics the emotional and spiritual terrain we traverse when we dare to grow, to let go, to feel fully. In this work, I tried to capture the moment just before flight—the breath, the bloom, the becoming. It is a portrait of liberation not as a destination, but as dance.

Do you ship internationally?
Canvases, fine art paper prints, and murals can be rolled and packaged by art specialists for safe transport during international shipping. International shipping tends to take just a bit longer than shipping within the United States, but you'll receive detailed tracking information and will be able to view updates along the way.
