Raspberry Glow at Lucy Vincent Beach

The sky unfolded like a wild silk scarf,
spilling raspberry and lavender light,
where ocean met fire without a sound,
and every wave carried a hymn,
calling me deeper into the hush.

I watched the rocks become silhouettes,
bold and sure against a flaming shore,
and foam kissed the sand with soft applause,
while the day's last breath shimmered wide —
a secret kept between sea and sky.

Each ripple caught the color's flame,
each cloud a brushstroke of some great hand,
and I, barefoot, in reverent awe,
was simply a witness to the grace
that a watching heart can hold.

There was no race against the fading day,
only the pure slowing of time itself,
the way twilight teaches us to stay —
not to rush, not to reach,
but to receive what is already ours.
