She Wades Through Indigo (Original)

$2,500.00

This oil painting evokes the haunting beauty of a sea-born being—part memory, part myth—emerging from the blue depths with a gaze that pierces and protects. Her skin, tinged with ocean greens and shadows of violet, suggests both vulnerability and power. One golden eye stares from beneath waves of hair that ripple like currents, as if she’s listening to something far beneath the surface—an ancient call or a forgotten truth. She is not merely a figure but a force, an embodiment of all that the sea remembers: sorrow, survival, silence, and song.

There’s an emotional depth here that resists categorization. The woman in this painting feels less like a subject and more like a presence—watching us from some liminal space between past and future, water and sky. Her expression holds the weight of stories left untold, and yet she does not beg to be understood. Instead, she invites the viewer to enter her stillness, to swim in the emotional undertow of her being. This work is a meditation on feminine resilience, solitude, and elemental wisdom—offering not answers, but a mirror

Her Eye Was the Color of Storms

She did not flinch when the sky opened—
stood barefoot in the pull of the tide,
her breath in rhythm with thunder,
as if she’d been waiting
for the world to break wide.

Her hair was wind-tangled memory,
saltwater dreams stitched to her spine.
She spoke not in words,
but in weather—
a language as old as time.

One eye gleamed like a promise unraveling,
gold and green,
like the steel-dark shimmer
of something fierce and half-forgiven
rising from the sea.

You’d think she was mourning,
but no—she was remembering.
Each wave a chapter,
each tear a turning—
the storm was only her returning.

Look too long and you’ll forget
what you came here to escape.
She isn’t asking you to stay,
only to see her clearly—
eye full of storm,
and still, full of grace
